A few people have had issues with the game, whether it be high pings or computer problems and running the game. For all those players that are having issues running the game (Crashing, freezing etc) Below are the minimum and Recommended Specifications/requirements. Minimum Graphics Card: Intel HD 3000 CPU: Intel i3-370M (2 cores at 2.40ghz) Ram: 4GB Operating System: Windows 7/8/10 --> 64 Bit Recommended Graphics Card: GTX 1050 Ti CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 Ram: 4GB Operating System: Windows 7/8/10 --> 64-bit To test your computer automatically and check if you can run the game ---> https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/valorant/19638 For those players that are having Lag and/or latency (Ping) issues follow these simple steps to see if it can resolve your issues. If one step doesn't work go to the next. Restart your modem by unplugging it from the wall for 30 seconds then restarting. Check your connection speed --> https://www.speedtest.net/ (Generally if its more than 30-50mb download speed its ok. Remember faster the better!) Check to see if riot have Valorant servers in your region/area. I barely met the minimum. My CPU has 2 cores and can reach up to 2.40Ghz without much problem. It's an Intel core i5 too

however, I still suffer freezing and CPU frame times spike when during combat

Generally thats what can happen, even if you meet the minimum. you just have to make sure you adjust your in game settings.

y844kst The problem is....It's CPU Bound, not GPU bound, GPU frame times was consistent(sorta) through out the game

It was the CPU Frame times that spiked.

Meaning, I don't have any settings to fix it. AT least, not that I know of

RalseiGoatKid there isn;t any settings really to fix this. a GPU you can optimize but a CPU you cant really. Unless you can overclock. You got a PC or Laptop?

Laptops are very very hard change parts especially since they don't have the space a desktop has.

y844kst Btw, I said frame times during enemy encounter. When normal play where you walk around with ally. It's around 30-40fps sometimes it 26. But when you saw an enemy, especially upclose, it just drops to 10 fps.

You can telll because when I play, I have CPU times graphs up, It spiked

6thDrip Yo dude, maybe turn on the graphs for your CPU and GPU frame times in game. Check which one is tanking

I play everything high including the options, everything on basically. Around 160-200 FPS.
My pc specs: Athlon 3000G / XFX RX570 8GB VRAM / 8GB RAM.

I play on laptop GT73 Titan - gtx1070. I had awful fps drops and lags until I recently updated all my drivers. Now I can stream and play at the same time. y844kst my desktop is compatible with the game my internet speed is 59.6 mbps with 60.2 Mbps upload speed yet my game always freezes up so bad that I have to unplug my computer in order to restart the game my FPS spikes are insane I need help please
