I just played a rated game of Valorant with my friend for about 30 minutes. The score was 12 - 3 in favor of us, and just before we were able to get our 13th point to win the game, the lobby crashed, which was evidence by my gun repeatedly firing, my friend and I not having control over our characters, and the game straight up closing. This game does not appear in either of our match histories, and we did not gain or lose rating.
While I hope that this was an error on Riot's side, I can't help but be skeptical and think that someone on the enemy team had the ability to shut down the match at any time, and what better time than right before you are about to lose. Despite these thoughts, I went to check Riot's server status page and according to them the servers were working just fine.
I really hope that this isn't a problem that occurs in other people's rated games as it completely ruins the competitive integrity of the match and simply wasted 30 minutes of my time...
