Riot's always-on anti-cheat blocking background apps

I just stumbled upon an article that really shows just why Valorants Vanguard anti-cheat doesn't work.
It's really frustrating, and I hope they do something about this!

This is honestly the last straw for me with this game. Valorant's vanguard anti-cheat refuses to allow RGB fusion, nvidia shadowplay or any other background apps with active processes to function properly for as long as I have my PC on. I can appreciate the lengths they're going to find and stop cheaters but this is the wrong way of going about it. If their software is so intrusive that I can't even save and share my gameplay then I think that's Riot saying their game isn't for me.

It's also started blocking legitimate background apps (lighting software, shadowplay) from working right. They've gone wrong with it somewhere

Valorant is not the easiest running game so i decided to check if geforce now has the game. After i checked the forums it says that the vanguard Anti-cheat does not support virtual machines and i depend on geforce now to play games on good fps and ping. I really want them to allow virtual machines, so i could use geforce now to play it.
