DictatorZerg I think some players don't have their "real" rank yet.
My first rank was something gold and 2 days later I was diamond (I played all matches with the same mates).

maybe the matchmaking will improve with some time.

I'm sorry for your frustration but I've got no real advise.

    Instead of creating 128123896 threads on the same topic, you could search for it and comment on the existing threads talking about that topic.

        Sergio dont you see that its completly different problems?
        RIPOFRIOT describes the problem of wide range of leages in same team.
        Im saying that the teams should be at least from same range.
        So if one team has 2 bronze and 3 irons, the other team at least should not be all iron.
        Its entirely different problem.
        While the first problem is a thing it can be argued for it.
        For my probem there is no excuse, aside of sloppy thinking.

            DictatorZerg Agreed. You should only get teammates and enemies from your league from ranks 1-2, then at rank 3, you could get rank 1 enemies from the next tier. E.g.: If you are bronze 1-2, you only get Bronze 1-3 enemies and teammates, then, if you are Bronze 3, you can get Silver 1 enemies and teammates. I'm currently bronze 2, but the amount of times iron teammates screwed up the match because of their lack of knowledge about heroes/maps/skills is infuriating. All due respect, as everyone should begin somewhere, but for the love of God, don't put complete noobs together with those who have some experience and knowledge and maybe even plan about a match/map/agent. And a lot of times (not only Iron) players don't communicate at all and don't react to my call-outs either, which makes the entire "team" aspect redundant and almost always guarantees a lost match.

              I have been playing ranked quite a lot since its launch and i have various friends from immortal 1 down to silver 3.
              I'm going to keep this short as its mostly a rant but why the fuck can RIOT not match people of equal rank? Plat 1 should be playing with/against gold3 to plat2 when solo queueing.

              Why when i solo queue do i get put into a game with silvers when im now plat 1.. Its almost like RIOT's entire rank mode just takes somebodys rank and does some basic addition like plat 1 + gold 3 = plat 2.. When that clearly is fucking stupid.

              There are so many fundemental problems with ranked that its almost impossible to enjoy it longterm. I am a former global elite/supreme CSGO player with over 12years in the cs community.
              I get match MVP in pretty much every single game win or lose yet im plat 1 stuck playing with silvers and golds and the occasional diamond 2?

              When i play with my diamond+ friends i still get MATCH MVP yet they get greatly increase and i just get increase?

              Is my ELO just fucked from playing with my lower level friends? or has RIOT completely fucking lost all concept of what makes a decent ranked mode. Simply adding more ranks is a fucking lazy fix for a problem. Its not sufficient

              Yes, that's how it is. You can win all day, but one serious defeat, and you are demoted in the rating... I was trying to take Plat 2, but my victories do not give a result, for that defeats immediately lower my rating, as a result I am on Gold 2. I don't understand how it works.

              Riot dev´s already said that they are not happy with how things are going right now in rated. They said that the main Ranked developer quit the job and now they are looking for somebody to fix it. Might take some while and might never happen at all. Time will tell

                Adding additional ranks makes no difference to the fundemental problem that is.
                When solo queueing the ranks in your game are far too spread. I am sure there are enough platinum players for me to play with in the EU. If there is not then the game is already dead.

                Stop just using basic addition to create teams, I know this is where your still looking riot as that's your reasoning behind the additional ranks being added next patch. Anybody prove me wrong?

                Using the excuse the guy quit is old and not valid anymore. They have had plenty of time to find a replacement within their organisation if not a fresh face.

                If you want a competitive game to rival csgo then put some fucking effort in!

                I don't know, this isn't what I experience in high Silver nor is it what I see streamers experience as high as Radiant. Sure you do play against a reasonably big spread of ranks, but not even the streamers I watch have to get MVP every match to stay there. Instead while you do need a solid performance when you play against people consistently below you, often you will play against people above you too. Besides, the ranks seem to relatively accurately reflect skill level which tends to be reflected in the combat score ratings by the time you finish the game. Sounds to me as though you may be either:

                A) Playing too much with lower ranked friends where you will almost always be the top dog and expected to have a reasonably good performance, or
                B) Stuck in a region without a big enough player base to have enough people at your rank, I'm not sure where though, maybe South America?

                  The worse part of matchmaking is you potentially get really good players, but somehow the team coordination is non-existent and you get rolled. Maybe it's they do not use certain characters, or something, but the matchmaking is terrible when it comes to skill balancing and such... if there even is any. I die so many time due to team mates mistakes.

                    superblahman I agree. I have a bad aim and I think we should have our own low tier. Good aims should be matched with good aims.

                      thats the biggest problem the ranks don't at all reflect skill. There are diamond players that don't have any real game sense at all and would be Nova in csgo. The other huge issue is that the guns are far too easy to use due to the RNG involved. The worst of players can still get easy kills due to pure luck.
                      There should be little to no luck involved in a competitive shooter, i mean thats obvious?

                      I am playing from the UK. So there are more than enough plat players for me to play with. Not silvers or low golds.. Everybodys rank getting reset tomorrow will hopefully improve the situation slightly, but it wont fix it.

                        ranked for RIOT in any game has been a complete disgrace... its not rocket science to do a proper ranked system hell i will tell them how to do it correctly for free... but the sad part is riot dont care about us at all... so its pointless

                        p.s finally glad to hear someone smart was working for riot... and they had the smarts to quit... riot dont deserve anything tbh


                        i just had 3 games in a row of platinum players blatenly throwing... 1 plat went 1-9 vs silver players... this ranked is literally unbearable... riot should be ashamed of themselves....

                        I mean, WHAT DA BLOODY HECK???!!!
