The worse part of matchmaking is you potentially get really good players, but somehow the team coordination is non-existent and you get rolled. Maybe it's they do not use certain characters, or something, but the matchmaking is terrible when it comes to skill balancing and such... if there even is any. I die so many time due to team mates mistakes.

CyDescent thats the biggest problem the ranks don't at all reflect skill. There are diamond players that don't have any real game sense at all and would be Nova in csgo. The other huge issue is that the guns are far too easy to use due to the RNG involved. The worst of players can still get easy kills due to pure luck. There should be little to no luck involved in a competitive shooter, i mean thats obvious?
I am playing from the UK. So there are more than enough plat players for me to play with. Not silvers or low golds.. Everybodys rank getting reset tomorrow will hopefully improve the situation slightly, but it wont fix it.
ranked for RIOT in any game has been a complete disgrace... its not rocket science to do a proper ranked system hell i will tell them how to do it correctly for free... but the sad part is riot dont care about us at all... so its pointless
p.s finally glad to hear someone smart was working for riot... and they had the smarts to quit... riot dont deserve anything tbh
i just had 3 games in a row of platinum players blatenly throwing... 1 plat went 1-9 vs silver players... this ranked is literally unbearable... riot should be ashamed of themselves....

it is so annoying to try and coordinate a plan with the weirdos you run into playing solo que.you can play brim or omen and smoke off opers yourself,but what if i want to play sage? do i haft to rely on my awful teammates to smoke for me? morrello(valorant dev) said they intentionally made it to where you cant kill opers with the vandal. so they need to nerf the operator,and other overpowered weapons,before you say i am a csgo purist. my argument is precisely the opposite. they try to give the game more depth by forcing you to use your abilities which is counter productive. abilites should give you options that you did not have in csgo instead of creating a boring routine.honestly this issue is deeply concerning for the longevity of the game. all abilities and weapons should be just as fun to play against as it is to use,but the op in this game makes me feel like I am playing apex legends.

It's really unfair getting team up with people who trolls and toxic while i'm doing okay in team trying to cover for everyone. I have not once AFK or toxic towards anyone i don't understand why am i getting treated this way by the system. I'm not saying i'm good but getting match up with bronze when i'm a Gold 3 i even look at myself like wtf kind of elo is this am i really that bad, its just so confusing this game is driving me insane! I kept trying to improve my plays everyday but how can i ever learn with these kind of people in my team

If i avoid the op i feel like my options on offense are limited because there are less lanes i can contest by myself unless i ask my random teammate to smoke for me and they never do a good job,so i basically play brim or omen every game and that is boring.
Innercalm07 you gotta think outside of the box. for example: got an oper shooting at you from long and you cant get through? well if youre omen you can just smoke off their line of sight, tp in the smoke and pop out and kill them. 9/10 they wont be able to react in time. jett can also do this along with raze if your smoker coordinates with you. reyna can counter an oper pretty well with her blind. so can pheonix. its not boring if you can easily adapt. its all about being able to counter what your enemy is doing. sage can even counter an op if you play your cards right. watch other people play, practice headshots. hope this was helpful in some way

i get team mates who afk, leave, or troll, every game. more often than not. i hear them say if its not competitive y try, then i go to competitive and see all the tom foolery and casual is 2x more fun and competitive. its bs.

Why there are too much afk and leavers? They are in every second game! Wait I know why. It's because of "awesome" matchmaking where one of the side often has no chance to win because of big difference of skill in opposite teams.
