Gameplay is choppy/stuttery

Game was running smooth for me the past week until today. I know an nvidia driver update came out but i played flawlessly yesterday but today it just stutters and becomes choppy. I do notice that the game is not using the full gpu, when I'm in other games the gpu usuage is at 98% but today in Valorant it didn't budge past 55%.

I always ask a few friends in my party all who use vga nvidia experience choppy games, fps 50 - 60 but it feels like 30-40, but does not apply to the amd he says that it is smoother now

I have the same issue but I am on Amd. I updated to a new driver, and it is awfully choppy. I wiped my drivers, and reinstalled the old one but the issue still persists. When I uninstall and reinstall it fixes, but next time the pc reboots the issue is back. They better fix this issue it is very annoying.
