Rank System beyond broken

I've been playing val since Beta, and i know that the "ranking section" of the Val Team is currently empty. But no matter how bad the ranking system is. I have never seen this before and it doesn't make sense at all. I don't mind deranking. But deranking after a close match and winning 2-3 games before that when playing a good game, then deranking again on a close and well-played game. yet when I perform horribly and lose the max amount of elo, I don't derank. Someone, please help me make some sense out of this.

i think it averages out how good or bad you did. not sure tho

A friend is complaining about this as well he won his last 3 ranked games his ranked rating greatly increased to then lose a single game and de-rank instantly

ikram 4-16-3 and a score of 1,426?? meaning you were not supporting correctly or throwing... the de rank there is just... i have yet to see a platinum player who isnt a thrower, troll, or not brain dead... can i see a video of the match or a match where you play sage please?

depends on how bad the games goes. In your case 4/16/3 is really bad. So you get demoted.
I dont like it aswell but thats how it is

In LoL i would have climbed so high with these Winning streaks but Valorant is kinda ill in the head or something.

I don't really get the 'ranking system'. Why are we going against platinum and golds when my team is a bronze and a silver? How does this work?.. Bronze vs Plat is that even a thing?
