I really would like to know more information, if ANY about how the ranking system works. It doesn't make sense to me. I've had instance before where I streaked 3-4 games of good wins (+2 or +3 arrows) and good teamwork and/or match mvp. Then had a 12-13 score game that deranked me from gold 2 to gold 1 immediately after... Doesn't make sense.
Another thing that doesn't make sense to me is I've finally grinded up to Plat 2 and I've been stuck in plat 2 for awhile now. Typically my promotions happen after 5-6 games at MOST. sometimes as little as 1 or 2 games. But lately my ranking "arrows" after the end of matches have been : [+2, +3, +2, -1, +2, -1, +2, +2, -1, -1, +2, +3]... 18 up arrows and 4 down arrows... Still no movement. Even 2 of those 4 losses had me as team mvp and a third had me as match mvp (it has been a good afternoon)...
Anyway, my frustration is the lack of visibility of ranking in the game and feeling like I'm having a good day and none of my work is paying off. Kinda losing my momentum and interest in ranked and valorant due to this.
