How do bans work

i have come across a LOT of toxic players, from trolls to strait racism. But even after the entire lobby reports them
they dont seem to be banned. you would think they would be kicked during the match (after all, having a toxic player is just as bad, if not worse then being a man down).

How many reports does it take to get banned ?

Also as a side question, Do afk penalties stack. sometimes my internet crashes, or i just have to leave cuz, y'know... Life.

do these eventually stack until i get permabanned or what?

I think for toxicity accounts only get muted (they can't use the text and/or voice chat anymore). As far as I know it takes more to get an account banned.

And when you report someone for toxic chat or griefing, the system automatically checks if it can identify such things.
