I'm not so good of a player myself, I'm bouncing between silver & gold, but damn, the matchmaking got even worse these days, just when I ranked up to gold, I got matched up with bronze and unranked players that literally the skill & awareness of bronze & iron. Let alone their aim. While the enemies that are bronze or unraked, are usually the ones who carry/smurfs.
What's the point of ranking up then? I thought being gold means you can pair up with golds too, I can take silvers, but I'm the only gold? Paired up with bronzes and irons too? I might as well just go back to silver. What a joke.
