2021 here, I had the same occurrence and I can be sure that it was not a wall bang as I was shooting at an enemy who wide swung. Moreover, it was from a close distance (close contact on Bind B Long Teleporter). I did not remember if it was registered as a wall bang or not, but I am 100% certain that I shot the enemy not through any walls as it was a flick to an enemy who wide swung as I've said before (as he came into my LOS when I was checking the right close corner of Garden), not a prefire to a jiggle peeking enemy. I only remembered that it hit for 120 damage (which I am not sure if that was the calculated damage of a wall bang headshot). More of the same occurrence happened, but this one is the one I was most certain of due to the situation of the occurrence.
