I have a big problem with the way skins are handled in Valorant. For one I think that all of the FX should be with your $20 gun from the get go or at least from getting kills with that skin equipped. Not spending more money on top of what you spent. It just doesn't feel right.
Also, there should be a way allow you to turn off specific FX you unlocked on the gun.
(For Instance the Elder Flame guns, I like them but I don't need the fancy animation when I just
wanted the color variation. Make them separate. It takes away too much of my attention so and I
know other feel the same)
I think the gun skin variations should also be changed away from radiant points to either reflect "headshot mastery" or other challenges you have to do with the gun to upgrade the skin's paint job. Or they can do the Overwatch system and award radiant points from playing ranked and then purchasing your color scheme upgrade by using that in-game currency.
I don't know about everyone else but to me the Valorant system seems predatory as hell. I just want more incentives and not a sense of feeling like I got forked over for buying and supporting the game.
Do you guys have ideas that could be beneficial? I'd love to see what you guys think.
