Granted I know its in Beta and these are unranked matches, but the level of bad is unprecedented. The one thing I can live with is if you have no map knowledge and bad aim. Those traits can be honed over time. When you dont even bother to do your due diligence to learn how the game is played before joining a match, you're making the game frustrating for your teammates.

I can immediately tell there is a heavy demographic of players outside of the Counter Strike community that has joined this game. I say that not to be pretentious, but there are certain behaviors that even a Silver CS player would not do, just through intuition.

The majority of players in Valorant do not grasp the concept of playing CT Side. There are 2 Major common issues I run into . First, for some reason, a plethora of players believe stacking all 5 CT Players in 1 Bomb Site is a viable play. Its either that or this second issue of Valorant Players habitually playing musical chairs on CT side with absolutely no COMMS. This frustrates me to no end as a CS Player,

It is common practice on CT Side in CS to call out WHERE you would like to post up for the HALF. This maintains order and prevents a 5 stack on one site. If you would like to swap posts anytime during the half, just ask your teammates. 99% of the time people have no issues swapping. In a game where characters can synchronize abilities, you would think this would be more prevalent. When members of your team decides RANDOMLY where they want to post up during the last few seconds of Buy Time every round. Now the other teammates cannot circumvent the issue, because the round has started, too late to rotate to the other site(s) now. 9/10 Games this is an Issue. I don't understand why this is so common. Am "I" the one playing the game wrong? Did I miss a Memo? Can someone please fill me in.

    but also riot never learn from their mistakes... they want to release ranked very soon which is a complete mistake... riot need to grow a pair and start warning/suspending/perm banning idi0ts who dont join voice chat in ranked only, who dont play FOR the team but for themselves, who throw games, troll, or just refuse to listen to someone that understands how to play better and is instructing them to do something that helps THE TEAM!

    such as, WALK DONT RUN so the enemy team cant hear you, buy me a weapon coz you have 6k+ gold please and so on....riot needs to remember this is a TEAM GAME, no exceptions no buts, ifs or maybes!!

    ranked is competitive gameplay PERIOD! if you are not in it to win it then don't search ranked or you will be warned, suspended, PERM BANNED!!

    and riot needs to not ban the people who are sick and tired of idiots this shouldn't be a bannable offense....

    Edit 2: also riot and companies like riot aka bliztards have this really f'd up belief that players who come to their games arnt already sick and tired of idi0ts.... WRONG...

    we come to your game from overwatch, cs, and other games to get away from toxic mor0ns and we really really dont want to deal with new or same idi0ts in this NEW game PERIOD!!

    its really sad to say but i dont believe things will change because riot and bliztards will always encourage mor0ns...

        id also like to point out this is a prime example why people like summit1g rarely play solo or with randoms...because even they dont want to deal with the bs of idi0ts, sadly im from australia and good smart player or even bad smart players are extremely rare to find...

        honestly i dont have this problem. while i generally consider most of my teammates to be braindead, they do know how the game works and have basic fps knowledge. there is hidden mmr in this game even in unrated. if u are good enough and play a bit u will quickly escape the players who literally have no clue what is happening. i personally dont want to hit the higher mmr tiers in unrated because league friends cant enjoy playing with me even in my current mmr where i mostly sheriff, but even here its not as bad as you make it out to be.

        even the games where i have more kills than the rest of my team combined i can tell that they at least know how to play the game, even if they are terrible.

        my league friends can drop 20-30 kills in their mmr and at that level literally NOBODY knows whats going on, ive watched them stream to discord out of curiosity before and the difference is night and day. all i can suggest is playing more and you will eventually end up escaping your current situation.

        side note, id also suggest just hard carrying games and dropping 30-40. if you cant do that in this beta then even if you know your csgo fundamentals you probably wouldnt be very appreciated in a higher mmr than you currently are. not tryna flame, its just that in the games you are describing it should be very doable for a skilled cs player to just run out a lane and kill a couple people consistently.

        Hi Ganja! While I understand the source of your reasoning and concern, you shouldn't stress this issue for too long. As time passes, you'll find that many "unskilled" Valorant players will abandon the game. The ones that stay will naturally develop not only FPS skills, but skills to help them improve and succeed in Valorant. Time and patience are of the utmost virtue.

          Mixer-com-BudsterLKS Very soon? It's a beta, do you prefer them to start releasing rankeds on summer? We are almost there, May, the CBT is perfect for testing rankeds. Also, its not like you will keep your stats when full version is live, instead of baby crying, you should give feedback about it.

            ChopoChopo98 At this point in time, unfortunately not. While League definitely has a high (and wide) skill ceiling, it's appeal is strong for many who don't like shooters. The end result is a combination of new players, veterans, and veterans who are still pretty bad at the game 😅

            If you ask me, MOBAs are more popular than tactical shooters. Don't get me wrong, CSGO is nearly #1 on Steam everyday, yet the number of people who play Smite, Heroes of the Storm, League, and Dota far exceeds the playerbase(s) of the few popular tactical shooters.

            I don't consider games like COD, Halo, Apex, Destiny, Titanfall, etc. to fall under the "tactical shooter" category. I'm moreso referencing games like CSGO, Valorant, Overwatch, Rainbow, and TF2.

              im currently ina ranked match were i have 4 of the most toxic throwing team mates... this ranked is already impossible to rank up and im so over these fk heads that i just flat out dont want to play these matches anymore so im afking so this match can be done with.... its just pathetic, this game has gone from awesome to completely depressing

                I didn't even bother to read the whole thing as the first paragraph shows the amount of ignorance this post is built upon. Some players are bad, some are good. Some people play to win, and some play to have fun, and that pretty much makes the difference between the two. That is just how all games work. It is no bodies duty to become the best players in the world just so you don't random Q with someone who isn't very good.

                Honestly, i don't see the difference between Ranked and Unrated. Only thing i noticed was that you run into less afk's in Ranked. But just as many trolls and toxic players. As far as i am concerned, there is no difference. Of course i only made it to silver 1 and got bored of it cuz it takes to long to advance so perhaps it is a whole nother game after, say maybe gold.

                If you dont want to play with bad players, find a group of folks you can vibe with and play custom or just role with 5 in Ranked or Unrated.

                While i agree, it also just comes with this kind of game im lucky that most of my games are full of decent people with the rare chances they get tilted or theyre ego becomes a bit much but it seems much better then the likes of LoL and CSGO

                I suggest muting and or not feeding into their troll. If the enemy or ally starts talking trash just dont respond to them and it will stop.

                Mixer-com-BudsterLKS when did i say it was trash... if anything i might of said the game will become trash and it seems like its heading there rapidly... firstly why are they constantly nerfing a hero that doesnt need nerf but actually need fixing... like raze?

                enemy in ulti survives.... rocket hits wall no visual effects and kills someone ???

                and why nerf her satchel?? are they serious with this garbage.... her satchel is mostly used to get into position or high spots or even combo with ulti it rarely gets used to kill people but hey lets still nerf it from 75 dmg to 50 coz idiots are QQing about it... oh lord

                  just had a game with three flash users where all three of them flamed me for suggesting we rush site on offense using their flashes...

                  finished 2-13 getting baited by my team's completely passive duelists as a Sage yet still outfragging them...some people simply don't understand core concepts of the game. When you combine that with the hypersensitivity typical of younger gamers you get shitty teammates who can't take constructive criticism because they deem it "toxic" while ignoring their own toxicity which stems from a fragile ego unwilling to admit fault and grow up.

                  like, I game to enjoy myself...not babysit mental midgets. it's at least bearable when my chat isn't restricted, so I can just flame their shit real good...but then rito has to slap me on the wrist for being real, since apparently kids nowadays are actually snowflakes?

                  what's worse...someone calling you a trash player (that you can mute) or an ally who never hits shots, never holds angles, never communicates anything, and never uses their abilities to help the team?
