Low fps on High-end laptop

Since last 2 week i am getting only 60-70 fps. earlier i used to get around 170-200 fps easily. It is strange that i am getting 60-70 fps on lowest settings and same fps on highest possible settings.
My laptop Specs : i7 9th gen, 16gb ram, 512 ssd, 4gb nvidia geforce gtx 1650. laptop model: Asus ROG strix G731

I've heard that valorant is very cpu reliant, so if it is possible, try overclocking your cpu. You can tell if this is possible by the specific model of cpu you have. Most i7 9th gen can reliably be overclocked to 4+ GHz, but make sure you have enough cooling, as overclocking dramatically raises your core temp.
