ICEBOX is the WORST map that Riot games could ever creat there is to many camping position its so hard to defend and attack DELETE THIS MISTAKE
Agreed, lol. The rework didn't really change the playstyle of the map, and the fact that one of the sites is completely indoors really doesn't help setups. Maybe not delete the map, but its DOES need some better adjustments to be decent.
All games have something like this in OW it was Paris. Everyone hated it they never did anything with it. At least icebox had some modifications lately better than nothing. Hopefully with the new map on the horizon icebox will get less rotation.
Why delete the map. Don't add it to competitive play. Have maps that are for comp and maps for unrated. This system is like in OW. People hated Paris, Horizon Lunar Colony and they took that out of comp play. All maps are played in quickplay for OW and only specific maps are played in Comp. No need to delete a map.
First of all I want to say that I also dislike Icebox and it's my least favorite map. Aside from my personal opinion it is not a bad map. It has a competitive layout with lot of setup potential for both attacking and defending site. it is however a rather complex map to execute site takes, defends and retakes. A lot of the more casual players don't have time (or want) to put the time and effort in to actually properly learn this map.
