Just started having this issue and was looking for a fix. Does anybody know how to fix it? Using MB5 for my ability worked just yesterday and now it does not work. It works when I'm in the range or in a custom match, and it also works on an alt account. I reinstalled Valorant completely. I use a razer mouse.

    blub Hello I was having the same issue with a new M65 Ultra Wireless Mouse from Corsair tried everything suggested above to no avail only thing I found to work is completely quitting out any software controlling my mouse, and using the mouse's hardware settings. So you may have to just close Razer Synapse in task manager while playing

        Felinefine im having the same issues with the same mouse. the thumb buttons don't even run. i remember having the same issue back when i had my other mouse (old version of the m65 corsair). When i close my icue it works but once i open it it stops. i uninstalled evreything and installed everything again and nothing works

          For me, whenever I'm in a custom game both mouse buttons work fine. However, when I'm in a regular match, mouse button 4 does not work. There are no razer synapse updates and I don't know what to do. Please help.

            AlexiaGutierrez Fix for me was scrolling down action keybinds and finding out that i had once binded ghost mode for custom games on mouse buttons and thats why they didnt work anywhere else other than range.

                  I have this issue with my corsair sabre wireless 2000hz mouse. The only way i could fix this was ending the ICUE task before launching valorant.

                  Please help, I have tried everything said above and nothing works. I recently have gotten a new mouse and I am using icue for it. When in valorant my mouse button 5 and 4 don’t work and if I alt tab out of valorant my screen freezes and if I just leave the valorant app my entire mouse stops working. The only fix I had was closing icue from task manager but nothing else worked. I reinstalled icue and it is completely updated and so is valorant which I also reinstalled. Please help me!

                    I updated my AMD GPU drivers and it did the trick. Did you try this?

                      None of this works for me. Logitech mouse with 2 thumb buttons.
                      I don't have Logitech G Hub.
                      My drivers are up to date.
                      I've reinstalled Valorant and Vanguard.
                      I don't have any other conflicting bindings.
                      I can bind the buttons no problem but they do nothing in gameplay or practice range.
                      I don't have this issue in any other game.

                        AVERTED i tried these but nothing worked. when playing on an account different than my main mouse 4 does work but when i play on my main mouse 4 doesnt and its really bothering me

                          Not sure if anyone is still having this issue. I am using a CORSAIR M65 ULTRA Wireless.

                          I believe this is a problem that comes from the crackdown on mouse drivers, macro software, etc. that people are now using to cheat.

                          FIX:
                          -I had Razer synapse installed, uninstalled.
                          -Ended task on iCUE and all related tasks (Logitech, iCUE, Synapse, Afterburner, SteelSeries)
                          -Launch Valorant

                          Keep on mind that your macros, lighting effects and DPI switches (on some mice) will no longer be functional.

                          I will forever express my disdain for this infectious and invasive anti-cheat. BOOOOOO 🤓

                          Razer and Steelseries: (worked for me)
                          Rightclick > Settings > Kompatibilitätsmodus Windows 8 and Execute as Administrator

                          If it works ONLY IN RANGE, Check your Champion-specific Settings in the left sidebar!!

                          Same problem my mousebutton 4 didnt work and when i pressed it my pc and evrything else except valorant froze my fix was to delete icue
