pretty simple, the sheriff needs its damage range buffed a bit. the gun doesnt have the best first shot accuracy to begin with, so shooting it even when aiming well feels pretty bad at long ranges already. no reason to punish somebody with the 145 damage at 30m, which IS a range that the gun can be consistently accurate at. i know this isnt csgo, before somebody makes that brainless comment about how the sheriff isnt the deagle.
however, the gunplay in this game is actually LOWER ttk on average than counterstrike. the phantom is basically the csgo aug, the vandal is essentially the sg. bulldog is like the galil and famas had an unholy lovechild. the pistols seem to be MORE effective in this game than in csgo as far as their damage is concerned. this is why it doesnt make sense that the sheriff has a worse ttk than the ghost at longer ranges against armor. just give it a 1 hit headshot out to 50 or something, i promise the game wont be destroyed. csgo's deagle doesnt 1hit headshot at all ranges, but the ranges that it doesnt are the ones where a headshot would basically be complete luck anyway, due to the first shot accuracy. the sheriffs first shot accuracy is somewhat worse than the deagles in my experience, but it is still good enough to hit out to around 40-50m fairly well without being "lucky".
