So I've been playing Valorant for 3 months now and I never once encountered this problem. This happened 2 weeks ago when I opened Valorant and I was able to proceed to the picking phase when all of a sudden I got disconnected from the internet. The wifi turned off on its own. It happened all throughout the game where I had to reconnect to the internet every 2-3 rounds. I was given a penalty at the end of the game despite being the match mvp. After playing, I restarted my laptop to see if it would fix the problem and it just got worse. When I turned it on, my laptop was connected to the internet and all was great until I opened Valorant and once again proceeded to the picking phase where I was once again disconnected but this time, the wifi driver itself was malfunctioning. I had to uninstall the driver and replace it with the latest driver I can find on the internet. Once I got it "fixed" I connected to Valorant and saw I was given a 1-hour ban for abandoning the game. I closed valorant and played another online game and I played straight for 4 hours until I got tired of it and opened Valorant. Again, for the third time, it happened. While I was picking my agent, I got disconnected. I tried temporary fixes and restarted my laptop but when I opened Valorant again, I was faced with a 7-day ban. At this time, I grew sceptical and thought maybe it's really because I have a faulty device. But during the 7-day ban, I played other online games and I haven't been disconnected once. Now for the 4th time, after the ban was lifted, I opened Valorant and tried to start a match and when I was being transferred to the picking screen I was again, disconnected. For me, it seems Valorant is messing with me. I don't know if this is a unique case but if anyone else encountered problems like this, can you please give me some advice or tips on how you can fix this problem?
