Hello fellow Valorant players. I am having an extremely messed up situation with the valorant store. I sent out a ticket to support but they said they would take 14 days to respond. In the mean time, I would like to ask if you ever had a similar problem to this, and how did you fix it. Please read the ticket I sent to riot support to get context of my predicament:
Cannot upgrade purchased skin with radiant points
Hello! Today I purchased the prime vandal and upgraded it to level 2. I still have 20 radianite points, but when I try to upgrade it to level 3, I get a message that just states "purchase failed." I have tried restarting my computer, logging out of valorant and back in, redownloading the game, restarting the launcher, nothing works. Please help me, I want to upgrade the skin I paid my own money for.
I have a very very important update. First I am going to start from the beginning:
I spent $100 to buy 11,000 VP on valorant. I used 1775 VP to purchase the prime vandal in the store. I got the message "purchase failed" but afterward I lost 1775 and got the prime vandal in my inventory. So I assumed everything worked and the transaction was made even though I got "purchase failed error." Then, I went to evolve the prime vandal with radianite. I had 50 radianite. I clicked upgrade to level two and got "purchase failed," however I got the level two upgrade anyway, and my radianite amount DID NOT go down, still at 50 radianite. I tried to upgrade again to level three, got "purchase failed," but this time I did not get the upgrade and did not lose radianite. From then on I could not upgrade, kept getting the same error, which is what I mentioned in the initial ticket post. I made the ticket post yesterday. This morning after reading online about how many other people have this same issue where they can't upgrade their skins and keep getting purchase failed, I tried to refund the prime vandal skin on this site because I could not get everything I paid for. The refund was unsuccessful because I upgraded the skin to level two, even though it costed me no radianite. However, I logged back into the game, and the VP was refunded. I had 11,000 VP once again. Yet in my collection, I still have the prime vandal at level two, and I still can't upgrade it. So since I had 11,000 VP again, I thought to try buying another skin and trying to upgrade it to see if it is only happening to this one skin (prime vandal). I bought the elderflame operator, and I got purchase failed. When I pressed ok below "purchase failed" it took me back to the store and there was a check mark over the elderflame operator. I checked my collection and I do have the elderflame operator, at NO COST. I still have 11,000 VP. I tried to upgrade the elderflame operator, and the same exact thing happened with the prime vandal. Level two upgrade purchase failed, got the upgrade anyway with no radianite subtracted, still at 50 radianite. Tried to upgrade to level 3, purchase failed, did not get the upgrade, now stuck at level 3 cannot upgrade even though I have the radianite. Just to see one more time, I tried to purchase the prime spectre. This time, purchase went through fine no "purchase failed" just "purchase complete." I lost 1775 VP like I am supposed to, only have 9,225 VP and have the skin. I tried to upgrade the prime spectre once and the upgrade went through just fine, I lost 10 radianite, only had 40 now. I upgraded it two more times to level 4 and it worked fine, only had 20 radianite left. So only the prime vandal and elderflame operator are bugged. I basically got them for free and cannot upgrade them. What do I do? I want to upgrade these skins and get what I want to pay for, and I do not want them for free because it is wrong to do so. I cannot refund the skins because they do not even show up as a purchase in my purchase history. Please help me fix this issue. I can provide any information, screenshots, recordings of me trying to purchase the upgrades with no luck. Another very important piece of information. I attached an image of my purchase history below. As you can see in the image, on September 11, 2021 at 11:36 I bought the prime vandal skin. However due to the issues explained above and in the video I made I tried to return it Sept 12, 2021, 11:15. I got the 1775 VP back, but still have the prime vandal and cannot upgrade it with radianite. Then, at 11:20 AM I attempted to buy the elderflame operator for -2475, but immediately the -2475 was refunded because the purchase failed. I did so two more times, and both times the points were refunded. However, the third time I tried to purchase I got the skin at no cost, which is shown in the video linked in the reply above. I cannot upgrade the elderflame operator. Finally, at 12:19 PM I decided to test out the store one more time, purchasing the prime spectre. The purchase was successful, I lost -1775 without any "purchase failed" message, and was able to upgrade that skin with my radianite. Please help me fix this issue. I want the prime vandal and the elderflame operator I have purchased. Make it so that I actually paid for them, and that I can upgrade them with more radianite points. I am out of radianite points right now (only 5 left) after upgrading the prime spectre, but I will play the game to complete the battle pass. Once I complete it I will purchase the battle pass with 1000 VP and redeem the radianite points in the battle pass so I can purchase the upgrades once fix the issues and I can upgrade them.
