Interestingly enough, Valorant does not allow players to invite one another internationally. I wonder if this is a peculiar preventative measure(cheating & region spoof testing), or it's exclusive to beta. While I'd rather not allow international cheaters to enter my region (through unrated and ranked), it'd be nice to play customs with my friends from the UK or Australia. Thoughts?
Inability to play with players from other regions
im playing from australia atm, i get about 140 ping up from 5 ping playable but would prefer an oceanic server (australia is always getting screwed)...
I think they do that intentionally so people won't get screwed over with high ping when playing with people in other regions. (unfair advantages).
I mean, sadly, I've already run into quite a few chinese players who are just using a VPN.
They really need to find a way to start banning or doing more than banning people who use a VPN to bypass locks like that, because it ruins the game for everyone. Nobody wants to get stuck with someone who's ping is going to constantly screw with everyone elses's experience, and nobody wants to have to deal with getting killed before you see them because of their lag.
It's all fine and dandy if you're just doing customs with friends and all, but joining public matches when you have garbage ping in those regions and can't communicate with your team? I sincerely hope people that inconsiderate and selfish would get dropped into a landfill with the E.T atari games, because we bury our garbage until it learns it's lessons. LOL
