Petition: add short matches, please

Hi,
I'm enjoying the game so far, but would absolutely love to be able to queue for shorter (i.e. 7 rounds to win) matches.

Fitting single 40 min game between work, wife, cats and ocasional shower can be tough.

Support my plea (and personal hygiene) if you feel the same.

You know, this is actually a very good idea. Or they could make another gamemode like cs go has in the form of wingman. Instead of 5v5 you have 2v2 or 3v3 to make the games go faster.

I think what they have now with options for shorter match points, live first to 7. I do like the option for 4v4. If they were to make a smaller map, I think 3v3 would be cool. I do think ranked should stay the way it is now though.

Yeah, smaller teams might be fun, but the require a good deal of rebalancing and map specifically tailored for this occasion.

I think the map is okay and the 5 vs 5 players is fantastic as they are easy to find, they should just lower the round count from 24 to 12 or 10 rounds. I agree with @vdll is really hard to play a 40 to 1 hour match while trying to take care of the kids, work, not everyone has a lot of time to play.

I agree, I think the game could definitely benefit from having an option for shorter more casual matches. Sometimes I want to play, but I can’t be locked into a 30+ minute game.

Yeah the biggest thing keeping me from fully committing to grinding it out is the long match times
