Hi everyone! I've been playing Valorant since the game first opened and i played it casually almost every day. I've never said something toxic or offended, never used some third party application etc. The last time i logged in was around December 2021 and i've been really busy with works and any other stuff starting from 2022. Just when i want to have a break from works and back to play valorant again, i got the notice that i've been permanently suspended when i logged in and it said that i've been banned because the using third party software. It was really strange because i've been inactive for almost 2 months and no one used my account. I've tried to contact riot through email and the answer that i got was some bot answer like " Our investigation confirmed that this is an account that is related to the usage of scripts, hacks, exploits, or unauthorized third-party programs in VALORANT (we're unable to tell which program). Because of that, the account will remain permanently suspended. ". It just really disappointing from a huge game developer like riot games that you guys just banned my account without notice and unknown reason while the account was inactive. All the time and money that i've spent on this game were treated like a trash. Does any of you have the same experience as me?

same here, banned for using third party software, with the same generic answer apparently they can ban you for using any software, i have been banned for using a software that they themselves said they would never ban anyone for using it on the reddit forums. they themselves said they would at best block that software well i was banned after 3 days of playing and without any warning, nobody accused me of using cheats but they don't do any further investigation, their anticheat system marks you as a cheater and there is nothing else to do.

I had a similar situation and unfortunately the ban remained. Setting up a new account helped, fortunately I had nothing of value on the old one

I played normally for a week then all of a sudden I try to open Val again and I’m getting the hwid 152 warning so I can’t enter the game anymore. I go ahead and check the Riot client and it doesn’t say that I’m banned so I contacted Riot support. 1 person tells me that my acc is banned for 1 year due to bad behaviour then instaclosed the ticket, I had no idea what he was talking about. So I send 3-4 more tickets then the second person tells me that there is no ban or restrictions on my account I get super confused because I was given 3 different answers. Now I think they are starting to realize the mistakes and they have opened a manual investigation of my account which will apparently take a lot of time… overall was a really time wasting experience talking with the different support people who only made it not only confusing but also worse

Same here as well. One week after I last played I got banned for "third-party software". Never once used it, never will. But whats the difference if I'm going to get banned regardless? Super pissed about this. Hundreds of hours spent gone. Money spent down the drain. Submitting tickets don't work as they claim their ban is righteous. Terrible company.

ikozni Same here, I got permanently suspended for ‘third party software’ as well when I has never used it. I submitted tickets and they kept giving me the same generic answer and believe their anti-cheat system is correct. I am devastated since I had spent so many hours and money on this game and no one cares to believe or help me. I also contacted members of their anti-cheat team on twitter but no reply.

I hope this gets fixed soon seeing how it could happen to everyone 🙁

I think this happened to a lot of people including myself. I was so happy I finally peaked ascendent and decided to use my sub account for a while so I don't accidentally demote myself. Few months later I came back with my account banned for apparent Third-party software usage. This garbage is straight up outrageous. REPLY US RIOT FOR YOUR UNLAWFUL BAN WHERES THE EXPLAINATION?????

N1ghtAF plzz how many ticket did you submit to get your ban lifted the same situation is happening to me i also have spent to much time and money in that account and wouldn't be dumb enough to use cheating third party softwers... while i think that i also got my ban after i didn't logging in for to long ...i am also concerned about another situation i played on a public gamimng station While I do not believe there was any cheating software present, I am concerned that something on that system might have been mistakenly flagged or misunderstood by their anti-cheat system.

I will send a link for password reset for you over your email using which you can reset your account password to safeguard your account.
Please check your PC for any malicious software that may hamper your privacy.
Also, please check for MFA again once the password has been reset and would recommend activating it (in case it gets disabled) as it offers another layer of protection.

I had to raise 2 tickets to get unban as the first they didn't even try to check if it was a mistake,
2nd ticket the support person actually did there job and was able to check and confirm that the ban was not the usage of third-party software's for which it was banned was not performed by me.

Know that this only work if you are actually wrongfully ban.

When Raising the ticket DO NOT SELECT 3RD PARTY SOFTWARE as the reason.

Instead Select the reason as "Do not know"

Next just type as normally explaining to them that you are wrongfully ban & ask them to look into this problem.

Should work if you were not responsible for the ban

i think that i also got my ban after i didn't logging in for to long and then i got banned until 2124. i wouldn't be dumb enough to use cheating third party softwers. 😭

This happens if your account gets hacked and put in a "account buy" thing, then, theres a ban wave and your account is in it so it gets banned

bryank4678 did you ever get this resolved? This just happened and we have more than $6000 invested since the game opened. My autistic son plays this game. He was having connections problems and they sent some patch to fix something and not long after he logged in and was banned. I’ve even taken the computer in to be checked at a local store and they found nothing. I sent all that to riot and they never respond. Even for simple questions.

You should check the email or the ticket link to know if they responded.

also the link the send to reset the password will only be active for 24 hours past that you have to email the to send a new one.

Happened to me 1 week ago, I submit like 7-10 tickets and all I get is "this account has been permanently banned for using "cheats"/"scripts"/"hacks" or other third party tools. I realise that this decision may seem harsh, but it is the only way to level the playing field and prevent further abuse. In addition, the PC you were playing on when the penalty was triggered has been placed under a 120-day restriction. This means that you will not be able to play VALORANT from that machine for the next 4 months. Please try not to log in to other accounts during this time, as they may also be banned"

I don't have HWID ban, I can play on different accounts, I've never used cheats or something in my life, only spotify and discord, in Riot com they're telling us that they don't wanna punish players, they want to protect and help them first, but they just keep ignoring me. I provided them my IP, that'll be different from the moment when I play and the person who played on my account (Someone got access because I had 2FA turned off), I beg them to check IP and HWID, I can provide any information, even my passport, my place of residence, my work, everything, I can make a video but Riot don't wanna help me, IDK what to do) Spend like 3k in Valorant, met my GF, met my friends, I would never use something to lose all the effort that I put into my account...
