Why does it seem like Riot intentionally makes the base color variants for some of their premium skins bland? I usually like the base color scheme for the guns, but either the textures or amount of extra decals are intentionally lessened/removed on some of them compared to other versions you have to purchase with radianite. Example: Oni Phantom variant (Red); the binding twine between the "armor plates" on the variants are all textured. This is extremely noticeable in first person, but can be seen in the preview as well. he armor panels on all but the base have a shinier, sleeker look, base is matte. The "leather panels" on all variants are textured, base is flat. The magazine is the only redeemable part, it at least gains its glowing textures when you upgrade it to the level 3. Why am I complaining about this? I get that it's all a money syphon and we are just living ATMs for Riot, but if we are already paying $100 for a skin bundle those skins should at least be as high quality as the variants of the skins. I love the red colors of the Oni, and the glow matches the finisher, but I can't stand to use it because all of the intentionally removed textures make it seem so low quality that I need other variants equipped just to feel like the purchase was (slightly) worth it.
