Can't party up because uneligable

I try to start a party with my friends. I ended last season (yesterday) with bronze 3. Two of my friends ended up with silver and my brother ended as gold. Weird thing is I can queu with my brother who is gold (and was Bronze 3). But I can't queu with my silver buddies. Whats up? Someone knows?

Yeah it's because you and your friends now have too big of a skill disparity to be able to queue in ranked together. Riot has these restrictions to try to make Ranked mode more fair and fun to only put people of similar skill levels together in these games. But you can still queue in 5-stacks with people from any skill level in Ranked mode (though the wait time could be significantly longer.)
