I have had a persistent issue over multiple acts/patches/hotfixes that Valorant will completely freeze my PC and both my monitors until I hard reset my PC. This often results in AFK Warning Messages and Punishments. I had tried every solution I can find online (run as admin, change setting, uninstall/reinstall, update Windows, update drivers, etc.) and nothing works. I have contacted Riot Support who told me that A. the system cannot distinguish from Valorant forcing you out and your choosing to leave a game, and so the system automatically applies what it deems the relevant punishment and B. gave me a series of steps related to League of Legends, not Valorant. This issue only happens when I play Valorant, and does not occur while playing League of Legends (both I launch through the Riot Launcher Client).
I do not know what to do. It just happened, again, in a ranked game and I have been hit with a 30 minute ban this time. I want to play the game, I want to want to play the game, but I am losing hope as it seems like a persistent issue in the Valorant Community that Valorant bricks/freezes PCs, but nothing works for me and Riot Customer Support admitted to me that the system will always assume I was an AFKer. I even try to play something like Spike Rush or Practice Range before going into Comp to try and bait the freeze out, but it usually happens when connected to a Ranked game.
I have wired internet, I pay my bills, and my PC handles everything (Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Overwatch, League, for example) just fine.
What do I do? How can I contact Riot in a way that they'll see it and treat it as a real issue? I'm tired of being punished for disconnecting from the game when it isn't my fault.
