Do you all think there might be some win/loss algorithm that affects accuracy? Isn't it strange how many matches end up going to 12-12? Sometimes when a team is losing suddenly they become cranked and land insta headshots that seem susp. Yes its a conspiracy theory but do you think there is any weight to it? Ps. I think the game might have some sort of algorithm that rigs the game to some extend, change my mind!

Yes I think it's 100% rigged. And it's so that the majority of the player base stays around the same rank. Why? Queue times. I've never been to Immortal but I've seen people comment that they smurf because queue times for Radiant/Immortal are too long.. sometimes an hour wait. Now let's apply that to all ranks if players are more spread around ranks. With everyone cramped into Silver/Gold/Plat, your Queue time is guaranteed to be less than 2 minutes at any given time. If people are spread around ranks more, your queue time might be 10 or 15 minutes.. This will turn people off playing the game and lower the player count. This is why I believe there is a winner and loser island. I have noticed when I'm on a 'winning streak', my team all has great comms, players knowing what they are doing, no trolls, no afks, no throwers and my aim feels insane. But then I go on these huge losing streaks.. and this is what happens... no comms, useless team mates, trolls, team killing, afks, throwers.. all of it.. And this is GAME AFTER GAME AFER GAME, until I rank down 2 or 3 ranks! It's happened to me for the past year of playing comp in this game. Everytime I reach a certain point I play game after game that is a nightmare to get through. And to top it off, my shots feel terrible. I feel like the enemy sees me before I see them. I feel like I'm being shot once, but I get hit 4 times. Shot behind walls, shot by running people. It seems like the entire other team is cheating. I'm done with this game. I'm sure its rigged.

burglebutt i wouldnt really say its rigged but i know when you win a round or two after been loosing for a while, confidence gets up (confidence is a huge factor) people might start using coms, you start to snowball rounds you start to feel it with th confidence you start playing well and sometimes come back and win, i have had pelnty of games where we won a 5-12 etc and games where its been the opposite for me. also with a lopt of peoples mental in lower rank goes bad when you start to loose a few rounds, confidence leaves and start playing worse where the other teams starts to play well. i dont think its rigged there are a lot of factors to the game. and iron, bronze, silver, gold is unpredictable because it has a lot of people in them because the better players can't get out because they get matched with random bad teammates. like i said there are a lot of factors

In short, yes it is rigged. In the early videos of Valorant, the game is intended to deliver fairness. There are many ways make it fair: Aim is altered by the game to favor the losing team. For example when the score is at 7-1. Last player standing will be buffed in order to help him clutch. Your crosshair will repel from the enemy when he is: Low HP, switching a gun, wielding a knife, looking away, using utility, right after using utility. If you pop out from enemies smoke/wall, your game character will be ahead of you a bit to let enemy see you quicker. Peekers advantage is almost none in this game. Play with high ping? game will compensate by predicting your movement so that the character will be ahead than actual. Boost multiple accounts you will notice that for every account there will always be a win streaks for every Immortal 1 rankup. There is also streaks to Immortal 3 but right after touching it the losing streak starts. I guess this is to keep us playing as when reaching a high rank you feel you are pro and when on losing streaks you question yourself and try to prove the game wrong so it keeps you on a cycle.

valorigged This win/losing streak issue happens in lower ranks too. My whole time with this game I've been around Silver/Gold/Plat. Highest I've ever been is Plat3. But it's exactly as you escribe for me too in these ranks - Before Ascension, everytime I touched Gold, I would have a massive losing streak, and the game just feels off to play, like I've gone into Radiant and I'm a terrible player, but really I've just gone from S3 to G1. Now after Ascension.. It's the same thing for me but Gold - Plat. I float around Gold, then I go into this God Mode and have a huge run of wins, get up to Plat, but then at some point within Plat the rot sets in and I end up losing so many games that I rank down to Gold again. It doesn't matter what I do - play solo, play with friends, play 1 game a day, play 10 games a day.. it always results in the same thing. And friends that play with me that are really good players, end up on horrible K/D's. I play with a guy that is Diamond sometimes, in these Gold/Plat lobbies and if I'm in a 'losing streak' he will go like 10.18 for the match. This game 100% operates the way you describe - Smurfs can get out of these low ranks because they are exceptionally good. But people aren't immortal or above cannot get past a certain point... the game is against the player.

I am in the same boat i recently got to diamond 2 almost diamond 3 and was there for a few days, I carried a few games and did average, then the loss streak comes along to ruin my day, every time I hit a loss streak I google hoping I find someone that has posted or found evidence of Riot doing something so frustrating out of personal greed. I have stated on reddit that I don't mind losing as long as the game feels fair but it just never does, after that glorious few games where I can kill players with proper accuracy, then I get some players that just say that I'm either inconsistent or paranoid, but the games are not inconsistencies or anything the enemy team can literally run through my self or my whole team. I have noticed with spraying as well on winning games my first shot accuracy can just miss the head but the second or third shot can land the head shot. but on a losing streak my cross hair can be bang on the nape of the head but count as a body shot then the follow up shots will all be oddly far to the left or right compared to a win streak. I don't care what rank I end up being but I just want the game to feel fair and not this artificial "omg I got to diamond 2 what an achievement" to then get rinsed down to plat 3 by god tier teams for the 6th time in a row I can understand that some times a win streak may happen with your average matchmaking but this kind of matchmaking is happening way too often its mentally doing my head in. I played a game called Americas army and CSGO for years for over 8 hours a day and very rarely did I play inconsistent unless a cheater was present, but Valorant just takes inconsistencies to a whole new level that it literally feels something dodgey is happening in the back ground.

I do agree there is something in the game that changes or throws off your skill in the game.. And honestly I don't care if I win or lose because I am not a pro player and just play for fun. But I do agree, after playing this for more than a year that there is something in the code that affects whether you are going to win or lose a gun battle. But I do agree and have noticed that in certain points of the game or certain games it seems like the game does throw your aim off or favor the other team or players. I think there is something in the programming or algorithm that does affect your aim and favors the other player to win a gun fight in some cases. I am sure someone will figure it out at one point. Not sure what it is but it seems really suspicious. One game you are gunning the entire team down with precision accuracy and the next round you can't shoot anything.

supanova OMG! You described exactly what happens to me all the time. I make it to Silver and then all of a sudden massive losing streak with horrible players. I get the worst team possible and then rank down 2-3 ranks just as you described. There is definitely something happening with how to decide if you have the advantage to win or lose. But I get to high silver and like clockwork, I will go on a massive losing streak no matter what I do. I get the worst possible players and rank down two ranks again. I can never make it past silver because: 1. I am not better than silver and 2. it always seems like the game takes every possible advantage away from me until I rank down 2 ranks. Right now, I literally have 12 loses in a row because every team I get is horrible. I am always MVP and have a massive amount of kills but it doesn't matter because the players I get are horrible and the other team is like the best gold level players I have ever seen. My teammates are getting 4-5 kills and every player on the other team has 20+ kills each. There is something wrong with the way the game sets up matches, ranks people or changes the advantage. Not sure what it is but it's annoying. There is a new first person shooter similar to Valorant I saw the other day that is getting amazing reviews. I think I am going to try that game.

every time the game decides to give me 2 games in a row destroyed by a team a few ranks above then remove 23 rr for each game i take a few weeks break. you have to teach them this shit isnt how to retain players

IKnowEverything The game definitely feels rigged. My peak rank is immortal 2 200rr. I have played from the very start to now. There is a big discrepancy between how the first acts felt when I climbed vs EP2-present. Climbed from iron 1 to I2. First FPS. Now I started playing the game again and it definitely feels very very inconsistent. I am here because I think that the game is not fair, but fair for tencent to make as much money as possible. I wholeheartedly believe the game is rigged. Ever notice during the game, it becomes apparent you will suck 90% of the time or be amazing just how the first few rounds feel? It is not natural, I have played many other games (csgo dmg) etc, and this is the only game that feels very very rigged. Rankups are from win streaks, lose streaks are unsettlingly uncommon for my skill level. I find it strange how one game I queue with immortals to the next with platinum after top frag MMVP? And gameplay in general feels very much as if you win or they win, it is rare the game feels fair.

90% of immortal rankups are unnatural win streaks, there is no fair looking match history for most immortal rankups.
