Mn, this is gonna be so confusing and chaotic and I love it. Just imagine people hiding their names and trying to troll with this thing. I think this agent is too OP and will likely be abused-let's say the mimic player decides to be toxic and now you don't know which one to report because you might end up reporting an innocent player. Also, the other toxic people can just blame it on the mimic for something they did, claiming that the mimic had switched into their skin or vice versa, and you can see how this is going to get very confusing and chaotic. The other innocent players would have to pay the price, and Riot would have to sort through a lot more false positives or inaccurate reports from players, which would probably consume more time and resources to process. Also, this extra layer of things to keep track of if someone is trolling, and the extra brainpower required might be welcome in a social deduction game like Town of Salem, but it's definitely not welcome, and would probably be very frustrating in a tactical shooter like Valorant that is built off successful team coordination. Also, even though this is an interesting idea, it would be horrible for the game balance-there is a reason why there can be only 1 agent on each team, and the odds can easily be tipped this way or that way (even if they just play the game and don't troll) because of the mimic role, so it would probably be too unstable to be successfully implemented into this game while also ensuring a consisently-fair game for everyone-an experience Valorant is so insistent on giving, (to the best of their ability, anyways.) I don't want to discourage you or anything, clearly you are creative and have a big imagination-and that's a good thing, I just wanted to point out some flaws with the current agent design, and how they probably wouldn't thrive well with the rest of the agents in the main game. But I also think that some really cool and unique gamemodes can be made based on this concept or around this character-I'm just not really sure what, and I'm also very interested in how Overwatch was able to get this concept to work in their game without breaking it like I would have thought, but again, Overwatch seems much more chaotic overall, than Valorant with a lot of stuff and abilities happening at the same time, so someone like Echo would have less of an impact?? I... I don't really know, honestly -- I don't play Overwatch. Also, just wondering: why the extra health? Is it to compensate for the lack of util since you can't actually ult that often? Maybe like once/twice/3 times a game? I personally think that the lack of any util by itself is not enough to counterbalance how OP this agent is-especially since they also gets increased health, if the player guys any more shield on top of what they already have, even if it's just a light shield, they can no longer get one-tapped by a vandal, buying them a few precious milliseconds in a firefight, which can potentially change the outcome of the match, or even the game, and that wouldn't be fair to the other players, who are all very fragile, and start with the exact same amount of health. Anyways, this has been a cool thought experiment, and now that I think about it, I would gladly play a team-based, asymmetrical tactical shooter with social deduction elements, where one person has the ability to shapeshift to confuse the heck outta the rest of us and try to sabotage our plans? That does sound like a lot of fun, but I have no idea how that's even gonna work. I know I'm getting off track here, so I guess I'll stop writing, and to whoever got this far: thanks for reading through my wall of text, you rock, and I really appreciate it. <3
