Upon getting permabanned for alleged use of "3rd party software" and receiving an answer picked from a ready preset list with zero attention, I thought maybe I'd share some of my experience to be of help to anyone.
It seems that Vanguard is held at an high esteem of infallibility for all intents and purposes, or I've been talked to by another one of corrupt moderators lacking proper qualifications of their duty. Either way, they refuse to provide slightest of details regarding the ban reason and look deeper into the case. So if this happens to you, consider your account good as dead.
If you've noticed, Vanguard is set to initialize on startup of your computer, which means you're expected to avoid their list of naughty software at all times, not only while playing. Plain breach of privacy if you ask me, and that list may contain software that possibly range from interfaced graphics driver to mouse or audio enhancers and the like. I personally have no idea what could caused it in my case.
The worst part is the supposition that implementing HWID detection and adding names of barely intrusive processes to the detection list will keep hackers at bay, especially at the cost of ignoring false-positives completely.
I've been playing League of Legends for 10 years and count myself pretty lucky to get my new Valorant account banned only. Now I know I shouldn't play these games on a computer with nothing but the essentials installed on it. I wish I had never invested so much time into something that could so easily be taken away from you at someone else's fingertips. But here we are.
