Yes, but how would that work when other people want you to buy them the color--changing gun? Does it also change based on what agent they are. Also. another quick issue I thought of (not very common, but still) you know how sometimes you can see someone's gun sticking out before you see the agent? So basically at a high level, this game is about information, having a particular gun with a particular look sticking out (especially if it has a distinct look to it) gives the other team info about which agent is holding it and holding this angle, which could be a pretty small advantage, but at a high level of play, to an extent it could make a difference. I don't mean to stifle your innovation and creativity because new ideas are great, and can change up a meta that could get too stale after a while, but we all know the real reason why: it is because Riot Games is greedy, they price their gun skins at very high prices, and if they could sell you 20 different guns in 20 different colors, and have you login every day to check on the night market, to try to collect them all, (and might as well buy something else that looks cool, or play a game since you're already here) and keep you emotionally and financially-invested in the game for a long time, then why why would they sell you 1 gun that can turn 20 different colors? (I have personally fallen for something similar: so before I logged in, I told myself explicitly that I'm only here to check out the new premier mode, and then I'm gonna log out, and I wasn't actually gonna play any Valorant, but one thing led to another, and before I know it, I've played Valorant for hours and died like 500-something times trying to do their stupid obstacle course, and I got absolutely no work done that day. I know your tricks, Riot Games!) It is more work for less value for them to design 20 different guns to sell it for the price of 1, so why would they bother? Sorry to break it to you, but Riot Games is a manipulative company, and is an expert on how to get people to part with their money, since their whole business model literally depends on it.
