So basically what happened is that I was in a game (Split) and talking to my teammate, and suddenly, the announcer lady said that I'm the last person alive on my team. My friend, who I met in-game, is usually very chatty, falls silent as everyone realizes the stakes of the situation, to help me focus better. I was getting very nervous, because I know I can never win a 1v5. I have never gotten an Ace ever in my life, being a bottom-fragging noob and all. My teammate tells me then, this is my opportunity. Unwavering optimism and encouragement. It's all on my shoulders now. I thought this was a lost cause, because there is no way that I'm ever gonna clutch this round, until one of my other teammates said "you just have to not get killed and stall them out." So I listened to him, and I went quiet, hiding in a corner in the sewers, my heart pounding in my chest as I listened anxiously as their footsteps as the 5 guys sprinted around the map, eager to see me dead. I swing my cursor left and right, trying to hold the 2 angles at the same time (and failing to hold both of them) just in case something happens. Nothing. The suspense hangs heavily in the air. I watch as the timer slowly ticks down, and they still haven't planted the spike. Yet. My teammates and I all watch on in anticipation, as the timer ticks to zero, and the satisfying win screen pops up on the screen. Feeling euphoric, I cheer and celebrate loudly, that I won a 1v5 by being a coward and doing absolutely nothing. I just wanted to share this story because I thought it was pretty funny. What do you guys think? Did I make the right choices to not take this fight?
