I have been facing constant critical errors and BSODs (caused by ntoskrnl.exe and vgk.sys) when I am playing VALORANT and this has been really frequent now. Before, I used to get none or 1-2 critical errors, but I would quickly get back into the game. But now, it's really frequent, I faced a lot of critical errors and BSODs yesterday and one just right now (I got a 1-week ban).
I have tried the following steps:
Reinstalled graphics card driver (After uninstalling the old driver with DDU, and also I debloated the new driver).
Updated all drivers in my PC using Snappy Driver Installer Origin.
I reinstalled Riot Vanguard and VALORANT (on default location, cleanly reinstalled using Revo)
I have set the Startup Type of "vgc" service to Automatic.
I have added the entire "Riot Vanguard" folder and "VALORANT" to the Exclusions of Windows Security.
I have allowed BootstrapPackagedGame.exe, VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe, RiotClientServices.exe, vgc.exe through Windows Firewall (both Private and Public).
I disabled fullscreen optimizations and checked the High DPI scaling for BootstrapPackagedGame.exe, and VALORANT-Win64-Shipping.exe.
I disabled Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling.
I disabled all startup services and software. (CLEAN BOOT).
I disabled some drivers
Windows 10 is up-to-date.
Malwarebytes found no malware in the PC (I scanned it multiple times).
I use the High Performance Plan.
The problems still didn't solve. I did everything possible so, I turned on Driver Verifier. And surprisingly, the BSODs are apparently caused by vgk.sys and ntoskrnl.exe.
I attached a zip consisting of minidumps of three BSODs that occurred during Driver Verifier. And a brief note of the settings of Driver Verifier below:
1st Verification
UNCHECKED TESTS -> Randomized Low Resources Simulation and DDI compliance checking
DRIVERS -> ALL DRIVERS whose Provider is not Microsoft Corp.
BSOD -> BSOD Occurred at startup, .DMP file shows ntoskrnl.exe and vgk.sys caused BSOD
2nd Verification
UNCHECKED TEST -> DDI compliance checking
DRIVERS -> ALL DRIVERS whose Provider is not Microsoft Corp, but the following four drivers provided by Microsoft are selected,
Wdf01000.sys
ndis.sys
fltMgr.sys
Storport.sys
BSOD -> BSOD Occurred at startup, .DMP file shows ntoskrnl.exe and vgk.sys caused BSOD
3rd Verification
UNCHECKED TEST -> DDI compliance checking
DRIVERS -> VGK.SYS was deselected, and ALL MICROSOFT drivers were deselected as well.
BSOD ->
NO BSOD on STARTUP, but BSOD occurred later
Since I was able to log in, I got into VALORANT, but the game was extremely laggy (FPS dropped to around 05-10). I roamed inside the practice range for around 3-5minutes. Then I quit the game. The moment I quit the game, a BSOD occurred.
SO PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE FIX THIS PROBLEM. I am in a competitive team, I have pariticpated in many tourneys, won some tourneys, and met so many people. I am not ready to leave this game man. PLEASE HELP < 3
