Hey guys, I know you are all crazy about Valorant! I'm a small content creator on YouTube, and my channel is Windows Fixer. I’m not asking you to subscribe or anything—just giving you a quick intro.
Based on my research, because I always look for solutions for my viewers, Valorant sometimes takes forever to load. Here are the four main reasons:
- Top Solution: SSD
If you have an SSD, switch or move your game to it. This will significantly improve your game loading time. You’ll get into the queue before the match starts, 100% confirmed.
💫Requirements: Your PC should at least meet the minimum requirements. Here’s a quick suggestion from my experience. My brother has an i3 2nd gen PC, which is very low-end, but he still gets into the game just as fast as I do on my Ryzen 5 3600 setup.
✌️His PC specs:
- 2GB NVIDIA GPU
- i3 2nd gen
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB SSD
💫My specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
GTX 1060 6GB
16GB RAM
500GB SSD
Game and OS on Different Drives
Some people reported that their game is on an SSD, but they're still facing slow loading times. This can happen if your OS is on an HDD and the game is on an SSD. About 30% of people might get decent performance this way if their HDD is new and performs well. However, for better and more stable performance, move both your OS and game to the SSD. Mixing an OS on an HDD and a game on an SSD can cause stuttering.
Insufficient RAM
Having less RAM can also cause slow loading times, but this is a less common reason compared to the first two.
Games on Main Drive
Some people have reported faster loading times after moving their games to the main drive (the primary drive where Windows is installed). This likely works because their SSDs are new and perform well.
