ROG STRIX G17 LAPTOP KEYBOARD UNRESPONSIVE WHEN LAUNCHING GAME.

So this issue started a long time ago , there is an ongoing asus thread here:

As soon as loading screen finishes keyboard is non responsive. No matter what you do you need to restart the laptop to make it work again. IT ONLY HAPPENS WHEN LAUNCHING VALORANT. Game is unplayable with this device.

The only way to make it work is open a notepad while Loading screen appears and type until it finishes, then you can play the game but this is a terrible user experience and should not be happening with a high end device.

Same happens to me for the past 2 months i have raised a ticket the solution given by valorent support doesn't works for me im using lenovo legion 5 pro 4060 ryzen 7745HX

DeebakT did you found a solution, because in my case , i even sent my laptop to lenovo and they changed the motherboard, but the problem continues, i have same laptop as yours, it appears that the problems it's software not hardware. do your keyboards lags from time to time too ?

Same thing for me, I just have to type on something while loading in which isn't exactly enjoyable. I've tried the stuff Valorant Support told me to do but nothing worked. Lenovo Legion Pro 5

there was no such a problem when ı bought the computer
(asus rog strix g17) few days after this problem occured during this time my laptop took a lot of updates and i think this problem linking with some updates . its disgusting this laptop cost 2k for me

rtN me too :/, it's sad, and what's more sad is that i have a friend who has same laptop like me, just intel processor and i have Ryzen but it works for him and not for me.

i just noticed I am having the same issue. I have an ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D and when I load valorant I can use the keyboard for a bit but when I change the sensitivity for my mouse my keyboard becomes disabled and I cannot use it even if I close valorant my keyboard is permanently disabled and I have to restart my laptop in order for it to work again.

I am also having the same issue with lenovo legion pro 5 (4060,7745HX) , I have to open notepad at same time of opening valorant and continuously type until home screen appear to make keyboard work in valo

what the hell is this. i installed valorant on my windows 10 enterprise and after rebooting the pc keyboard and mouse not working so i need to press shift + f8 for safeboot and deinstall vanguard... but i cant play valorant. riot games really?
