If Valorant really cared at all, they would catalogue people's accounts (track IPs, MAC addresses, etc). They do not. This is why people are incentivized to make Smurf accounts, troll people on accounts they have no care for, and expect no penalties against their accounts they actually care about.
Until Valorant finally either starts to link accounts together, enforce single accounts, or starts to take harsher actions for people who flagrantly abuse others and cheat, this game will always be a second tiered platform rife for extinction.
