Hi.
Quite new to Valorant but not to competitive shooters.
I used to play high TTK ones so Valorant is first in a sense of low TTK.
I would say I have:
- good maybe even above average mechanics (e.g. Aimlabs Voltaic benchmarks I can mostly complete at Plat/Diamond level on day to day basis)
- good game sense in terms of strategy and rotations, team comp
- still a lot to figure out regarding angle holding, pre-firing, adjusting to peeker's advantage (seems crazy OP in this game)
So far I have reached almost Silver 3 and my question is:
What is possible in terms of skill in <Gold level lobbies?
I regularly see a huge difference between players even up to Gold rank where some just are totally lost, bad mechanics, crouch-spraying all the time etc. vs some that easily pop-off 30+ kills per game with 40% or sometimes even higher headshot percentage (those usually feel like aimbot to me as they instalock on me, yesterday had a dude whom I surprised, did not hit my shots well yet he just did like 180 and insta-headshotted me being Bronze level player with very average stats).
Please let me know your experience / inside knowledge on how to distinguish between hackers (aim assist I guess is a big thing now here as well) vs legit players and what stats would be considered legit for <Gold players and what clearly are sus.
Thx.
