Smurfing ruins this game

It’s so fun being in iron/bronze as a low skill player. It’s so fun going against players every 1.5 matches getting 30-40 kills while the other teams all struggles to get more than 10 kills each. It’s so hard to implement authentication to limit smurfs.

Really though, the amount of players this game loses because you can’t learn the game without getting smashed by losers that need an ego boost is ridiculous. No wonder the game is dying.

Not sure about game dying but yeah issue is well known and probably present till those low ego players continue to exist. Worst I have encountered was just last week where dude came in and showed + stated in voice that he is current Immortal, but lost 10 games on that level so he switched to smurfing in low silver / high bronze lobby pulling competitive level moves and crazy accuracy. That is just sad if that is the case and people even on immortal level have so fragile ego that it needs boost in silver lobbies.

On the other hand what I have noticed is:
a) if you get like 2+ smurfs in an enemy team while you have also somewhat lower overall / average skill level team on your side = basically game over
b) but more importantly if you get just 1 smurf in the enemy team that usually means that other players on that team are significantly weaker, basically you have to switch to mentality to hunt down smurf like 1v3 usually does it and then pick off the rest of the team as smurfs usually don't teamwork, just farm frags

What happens in most cases though:

smurf starts farming
people get tilted
many are not smart enough to understand why they are picked off so easily = that player is smurfing or hacking and start to blame teammates for basically not being able to win 1v1 vs much higher skilled player
typical valorant elo hell experience where everyone just flames and does 0 teamwork giving easy field day to smurf

If players would do exact opposite actually you can win those games vs smurfs unless there are multiple + your team is not an underdog from the start in terms of average skill.

And yes I guess at this point I would opt for free to play games actually charging like 50$ or so for account creation that CAN NOT BE hacked, exploited to avoid everyone with low ego to just easily create multiple accounts and smurf, at least they would need to cough up some money and do that repeatedly if / when banned for smurfing. Also payments are easier tracked than e-mail = easier for Riot to see that one player / account is linked to game accounts indicating smurfing.

Isn’t that the same thing as “1+1 usually equals 2”? I mean when you assume there is 1 Smurf in enemy team, of course that means 4 other teammates are weaker, right? What is the point of saying that. I thought this is what a 5 years old would say, but in his other post, he mentioned he played apex legend for 10k+ hours, what is the problem with people online nowadays.

Because in some cases from my experience there are smurf teams / more than one smurf in enemy team and those games usually end with FF or very close to 13:0 because smurfs just "trick" matchmaking and when playing to their potential you have like 0% of even fragging 10 frags per game.

Typically how to see that is this dominance no matter how well you play + if you see stats of those smurf players you will notice they win one game and then throw (losing and or very low K/D game) like 5+ in a row.

vs "not team effort smurfing" where in a weak team only one smurf is put in by matchmaking = games are winable or for sure much closer than 13:0 and only one person has like 25+ frags while others are more like bots / much weaker than your level.

Also many player don't even get into details how matchmaking works and de facto think that every player on the team is +/- on the same level e.g. if player is S1 => all teammates / enemies are between B3 and S2 which if far from what actually happens and is clearly visible through valorant tracker.
