I’ve been playing Valorant for like four years, and it used to be great. The people were fun, and I really enjoyed playing with other Southeast Asians. I play on the Singapore server, but lately it feels different. As a solo queue player, I keep getting matched with Mumbai players, and the vibe just isn’t the same. Our SEA jokes and playstyles don’t really click.
For example, this guy was really rude in previous game, but in the next game, when there was a girl on the team, he suddenly acted super friendly. It felt fake and honestly kind of cringe. If you play on the Singapore server, you probably know what I mean about mumbai player behaviour.
Sometimes I just don’t feel like talking because I’m already annoyed, but they keep forcing it. Then when I ignore them, they call me racist. Same thing when I don’t drop skins and they make it a big deal for no reason.
The point is, they’re not even playing the objective as they’re just feeding their ego and online persona. Like, nobody cares.
