I am not in beta but I heard allot about Valorant and it's anti-cheat program Vanguard. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but it looks like Valorant is a total miss if Vanguard will be implemented in it's current form. It even looks like Vanguard don't seem to keep cheaters at bay anyway, so why even have it? Especially if it's as intrusive and destructive as people say.
For me at least this game is a no-go until I'm 100% sure Vanguard will NOT be part of the experience. Damn shame too as Valorant looks really fun.

(Also names are too similar - I had to correct a few mistakes writing this. lol.)

I'm a huge fan of this game, but the reports about Vanguard blocking drivers, shutting off cooling fans and disabling USB devices is extremely concerning. May not have happened to a lot of people here, but if you search Vanguard in this sub, you'll see this has impacted quite a few people.

While I really want to play the game, I just cannot risk something like this happening, so my question is when is this actually going to be addressed? This is unacceptable and puts users at risk for their hardware not working properly. Maybe I'm behind the curve and this has already been fixed, and if it has, could you provide a link on where to find that information?

I just want to be able to play the game without worrying something is going to go haywire with my hardware.
