Shorter version of ‘unrated’ will garner and retain a much larger player base. As we know, a powerful player base is crucial to esports. We also know that riot wants to have a hyper competitive game, therefore esports. In order to attain the most ideal esports ‘life’, riot needs the largest player base possible, and shorter games will provide that. Therefore, shorter game modes will result in better esports, riots end goal.
