Valorant messing with internet

During the beta i would get horrible ping only while playing valorant. now that the actual game is out it is even worse. i have gigabit internet and any time valorant is on my pc my download speed goes down to 5-30 megabits per second....this applies to everything in my house. phones are slow tvs are slow all other laptops and computers are slow. The second the game is deleted off of my computer my internet is back to normal. Anyone else having any sort of problems like this? no this is not the same thing everyone else has where you get a little spike here and there and the network problem symbol is in the corner of your screen this applies to every game and everything i do in my entire house that requires the internet and it does not stop until the game is deleted.

Hey sorry for the late reply but recently ive been having similar problems where when im playing the game it slows down my entire network all around my house and worst i still have ping and lag in game so did u ever find a solution?

I've been having the same issue as well, the immediate second I went to my ccleaner app and just removed everything riot/valorant related my internet was back to normal. Whenever I play Valorant I can see in my Killer Control Center, (It's like an internet tool that tracks app usage for download and upload speed), that its taking up a ton of download and upload speed and literally for no reason, like I was trying my hardest to find out what it what was but I just couldn't seem to figure it out. It's like after they came out with that patch for Phoenix and Yoru everything was just so frustrating, discord wasn't working, chrome wasn't working, my phone wasn't working, everything was slow to the point where I just had to delete Valorant.

When my son gets on the Valorant game it uses almost all the internet speed and none of our other devices will work or lag terribly. We have 1 gig and should no way be having issues. Does anyone have a solution?

We just installed sonic and have the same issues. Will update after we try to fix..

Same issues with valorant.
I disconnected Sonic’s eero router and used my google nest router with 2 WiFi points instead.
Game works great now.

Please find a solution to it, talked with support, changed dns settings, flushed dns and every suggestion possible. Lots of people are randomly having this problem with valorant without knowing why. In case you know something please reach back. I will come back here in case I find anything
