Well the game is far more forgiving, but I also think that, despite being so similar, Valorant emphasizes different skills quite a bit more than CSGO.
The shooting aspect is easier here (but still very crucial), so you have to find different means to win. Tactics, making good preparations, reading people's movements (especially with the opportunities that all those abilities provide) and being able to adapt quickly to the changing situations are far more important in Valorant. The downside of this is that you are more prone to die by a scrub with some luck than in CSGO.
To give you a black and white but evident comparison of the two games: In CSGO you have to outgun your opponents, in Valorant you have to outsmart them.
