Is Valorant ready for amateur leagues?

Good day everyone!
As the title suggests, the question is quite simple as a means of research for aspiring competitive leagues and tournament organizers such as myself. Is Valorant at a place in terms of the population of the game and its competitive "scene". Is there a drive currently to see it become a great esports game or is it merely average competitiveness in the game?

I wish but in its current state not at all many things are out of balance and need to be worked on by the developers.

There are already amateur leagues in my region, and id say no. The game needs some big changes if it wants to be a competitive game but tbh, its gunna be rough keeping maps and agents balanced.
