INITIALIZING GAME ISSUE

My acer nitro 5 computer doesnt play any of my games above 30 fps even though it has a gtx 1050 and an i7 processor, ive installed the latest windows 10 drivers and the latest gtx 1050 drivers and ots still locked to 30 fps

Its also connected to a 60 fps monitor via HDMi, im trying to play overwatch and i dont know whats going on.

Have you checked your settings in game? to make sure the FPS isnt capped.
And have you also checked your graphics settings for the FPS?

It could also be that your running too many processors in the background

Is this still going on? If so you might want to check if your gpu is set as primary device, to do this just right click on your desktop and go to NVIDIA control panel (or config, depending on what it says for your system) it should be somewhere in the 3D settings section. Had the same issue on my laptop before switching to pc, turned out it wasn't using my gpu at all.

You can also "right click" the Valorant exe file and select "Run with graphics processor" then select the GPU needed 🙂
