I made 3 screenshots of different situations on 16:10 aspect ratio, resolution 1680:1050:
1. Letterbox mode, with black bars top and bottom. [upl-image-preview url=https://valorantforums.com/assets/files/2020-06-18/1592523888-172797-16-10-letterbox.png]
2. Fill mode. This mode made the FOV more narrow, as we see in the screenshot, but the proportions of textures stay the same. Which is surprising to me, since from many sources i heard FOV should stay the same no matter the resolution.

3. Stretch mode

which i managed to get by unplugging and plugging monitor cable while in letterbox mode. In this mode, FOV stays the same, but everything gets stretched vertically, including enemy portraits Again, from many sources, i heard Riot wanted to prevent this. So how the hell did i manage to do that?
Could anyone explain to me, a dumb person, what exactly happens when i don't have 16:9 monitor, and also, is the last, stretched mode is bannable?
This is really confusing to me, since i heard both, that FOV should stay the same and only HUD should change, and we see in those screenshots, they actually both change.
I got accused of clickbaiting on reddit and that i should show an actual unrated game, so here it goes, 3 screens from a game under this link:
