Hi everyone! I've been playing Valorant since the game first opened and i played it casually almost every day. I've never said something toxic or offended, never used some third party application etc. The last time i logged in was around December 2021 and i've been really busy with works and any other stuff starting from 2022. Just when i want to have a break from works and back to play valorant again, i got the notice that i've been permanently suspended when i logged in and it said that i've been banned because the using third party software. It was really strange because i've been inactive for almost 2 months and no one used my account. I've tried to contact riot through email and the answer that i got was some bot answer like " Our investigation confirmed that this is an account that is related to the usage of scripts, hacks, exploits, or unauthorized third-party programs in VALORANT (we're unable to tell which program). Because of that, the account will remain permanently suspended. ". It just really disappointing from a huge game developer like riot games that you guys just banned my account without notice and unknown reason while the account was inactive. All the time and money that i've spent on this game were treated like a trash. Does any of you have the same experience as me?

same here, banned for using third party software, with the same generic answer apparently they can ban you for using any software, i have been banned for using a software that they themselves said they would never ban anyone for using it on the reddit forums. they themselves said they would at best block that software well i was banned after 3 days of playing and without any warning, nobody accused me of using cheats but they don't do any further investigation, their anticheat system marks you as a cheater and there is nothing else to do.

I had a similar situation and unfortunately the ban remained. Setting up a new account helped, fortunately I had nothing of value on the old one

I played normally for a week then all of a sudden I try to open Val again and I’m getting the hwid 152 warning so I can’t enter the game anymore. I go ahead and check the Riot client and it doesn’t say that I’m banned so I contacted Riot support. 1 person tells me that my acc is banned for 1 year due to bad behaviour then instaclosed the ticket, I had no idea what he was talking about. So I send 3-4 more tickets then the second person tells me that there is no ban or restrictions on my account I get super confused because I was given 3 different answers. Now I think they are starting to realize the mistakes and they have opened a manual investigation of my account which will apparently take a lot of time… overall was a really time wasting experience talking with the different support people who only made it not only confusing but also worse

Same here as well. One week after I last played I got banned for "third-party software". Never once used it, never will. But whats the difference if I'm going to get banned regardless? Super pissed about this. Hundreds of hours spent gone. Money spent down the drain. Submitting tickets don't work as they claim their ban is righteous. Terrible company.

I submitted tickets and they kept giving me the same generic answer and believe their anti-cheat system is correct. I am devastated since I had spent so many hours and money on this game and no one cares to believe or help me. I also contacted members of their anti-cheat team on twitter but no reply.

I hope this gets fixed soon seeing how it could happen to everyone 🙁

guys just spam them with tickets until an actual employee replies, we all have razer software which just confirms that it probably triggered the anti-cheat to ban us. from what I know razer actually interacts with any full screen game, which maybe caused the ban. idk shitty anti cheat just bans random people

Good news though, Overwatch 2 is coming out in October and is free to play. Then we will be rid of this China-funded spyware for good.

The same thing happened to me aswell. Was just about to log in and that shi came up. No illegal 3rd party applications were running in the background either.

They don't care. They won't even tell you what app they supposedly detected you were using even if you demanded that they prove it or even if you wanted to know so you can disable it before running the game

If this was brought up in a court of law it would be considered withholding evidence and contempt.

Anyone get it reversed? Just got hit with the same thing after taking a few days break from the game. Third party software ban. Only thing I've installed in that time frame since then is DS4 for a dual sense controller lol. This is ridiculous. The first season I decide to get the battle pass and they pull this. Feel worse for ya'll who spent a pretty penny for skins.

Literally same thing happened to me ive spent thousands of hours and hundreds of dollars on the game. I was around diamond the entire time i played. The only third party software ive ever used has been valorant tracker which they themselves have said that it is an ok software to use. However, i still receive a permaban when my account is inactive. It doesnt even make sense to me how riot games can treat their community like such trash and get away with it. And of course riot games support team just spews the same bs every time saying "our investigation has lead us to believe that suspension for the usage of unauthorized third party programs was a valid one". This company deserves some serious backlash and havent received because they treat normal players and pro/big creators different. It honestly disgusts me that riot games can do this to so many people.

Just got banned today.. i think i was hacked because when i opened the game i was already in a match playing a charcter ive never played and kept getting error code 3. now i try to log in today it says im permanently banned for 3rd party program. ive never hacked in any game ever
